Had an U/S last night & feeling upset.
I'm slated to leave on a month long trip on Monday so I went in for an U/S. based on my OD, I should be 7 weeks. The DR did an U/S and at first it seemed "small". She said I looked closer to measuring 6 weeks 2 days. I told her I knew more or less my OD because I use a fertility monitor. We saw also a HB. It was a flickering but we didn't hear it (maybe too small?). She didn't seem worried but mentioned it COULD be a bad sign.
I'm so torn. I don't know what to think/do?! Is this normal?

Had an U/S last night & feeling upset.
Even while using a fertility monitor there is still room for human error and you could just be off by a few days. Try not to think about it too much (easier said then done) and try to enjoy it. You saw a HB which is a good sign. The first appt is always so nerve wrecking but if everything seems to be in order (measuring only a few days off and HB was there) then try to go on your month long trip and relax.

First Congrats! It's not like you are a full week behind; it's only days. I wouldn't worry too much and even though you were using a monitor you could still be off in your calculation. You did see a HB which is a plus. When is your follow up appointment?

ITA. I know it's SOOOOO hard not to worry, but you saw a heartbeat, which is great.

You just have to have faith....worrying gives you something to do but it gets you nowhere. Try not to stress.

Congratulations!!!, Seeing a HB is a wonderful milestone, try and stay positive. Meansuring behind a few days isnt a big deal, you might be off on your numbers, ovulated later, etc. Hang in there!

DD always measured a couple of days behind. My dr. based my edd based on my LMP but I knew that I ovulated later since I used OPK and told her that my due should be 3 days later. And based on my sonos, DD was 2 days behind that, so based on my LMP she was a whole 5 days behind schedule, and I so scared beyond belief - even though she really was only 2 days behind schedule!
It is super scary.. but you know you dates, and you are just a couple of days behind, and you saw a heartbeat which is fabulous!!!!
And, DD was born on the date I calculated based on when I ovulated
