Backyard Ideas
We are closing on our home in Deer Park next week.
The yard is wide but not very deep. Does anyone have any pics of ways to make the space work? Many of the homes we saw we much more narrow (homes next door were basically on top of the home) but deeper yard. This is very wide but not too deep - I guess I am looking for ideas for people who have the same setup.

What are you looking to do with the space? Are you looking for something like a patio with furniture, planters, playground?

Along similar lines, do you want to have a "postcard yard" that is heavily landscaped, but not much usable space? Do you want lots of sectioned areas for adult entertaining? Room for kids to play?

Kid area and a BBQ patio area. No postcard overly flowered picturesque froo froo seating areas except a nice patio section. The rest is for our kids.

Backyard Ideas
Our backyard is kind of like that. We just closed on it recently. Currently there is zero landscaping - not sure if it will remain that way. We have a huge deck that will serve as our adult space. The rest of the yard is DDs. Her swing set will be on one end of the yard. At some point I also want to set up a fire pit area in the yard somewhere.
