Re: Brazilian or Keratin?

I have always had the Keratin done. I LOVE it. I would not be able to make it thru the summer without it. I have wavy, thick hair past my shoulders. At fist my hair is very straight but by the 3 or 4th wash my hair has more body but still straight.
It usually lasts me 4-6 months.
But the only issue is getting in wet in a pool or ocean. you can't or if you do, wash your hair w/ fresh water asap to get the salt out.

Re: Brazilian or Keratin?

I had the Coppola Keratin Treatment done. I have thick hair that is curly when it is long (past my shoulders), but frizzy & kind of straight when it is short-medium. It was great! I was able to go outside in humid weather & not have to worry, even if I got caught in the rain. My only issue was it was very, very straight and if I wanted it curly, I was out of luck. I don't know if that was characteristic of the treatment or specifically the person who did it.

Re: Brazilian or Keratin?

I have fine hair just past my shoulders. It has a natural wave and gets positively curly and frizzy in the slightest humidity.

I would hate it to be pin straight but would like some body.

Re: Brazilian or Keratin?

totally dif things brazillian straightens.... keratin soften hydrates and helps with frizz and shine!!! ps I would do keratin first....brazillian is much more of a commitment and can depending on who does it keep hair too straight and for some it dries it out.

better go slow.... I use copolla brand and I think you would like that first for keratin....gl
