Sore Spot in uterus?
On the top right of my uterus, on the inside, it kind of hurts. I've been getting all sorts of pulling sensations when I move, almost like the round ligament pains, but I am 38 weeks pregnant, so I am not sure if you still get that this far along. THis one spot though almost feels bruised on the inside. This morning I was convinced it was burning and my uterus had ruptured, that fear still hasn't left all the way. Anyone ever get pain like this?

Re: Sore Spot in uterus?
I have had the same spot in the upper right of my uterus for weeks now. I assumed it was the LO in a position that was jabbing me in the ribs. I massage the spot often to get some relief but I agree with you it does feel like a sore or bruised area. I was hoping it would get better if he dropped lower but everything I'm reading says that they don't drop down until the very end after you've already had a child. I still have four weeks left so all I can do is massage the area.

Re: Sore Spot in uterus?
I feel that too, very close to my belly button but a little up and to the right. I only really mentioned it to nurse practicioner and she just said yea some people complain of pain in their belly button during pregnancy. Not the answer I was looking for but didn't seem concerned.

Re: Sore Spot in uterus?
I almost went to L&D one night when I was pregnant. I had one spot to the left of my belly button that was excruciatingly painful, just in that one spot. It was so bad that I couldn't sleep, I was sure something was really wrong. I was up for hours Googling to see what it could possibly be. I never found anything that sounded like what I had.
I finally went to bed and it was better but still sore (bruised feeling) in that spot the next day. I had my weekly NST at the perinateologists office the next day and I told the nurse. She said she had something similar when she was pg due to the baby's position. I never found out what it was but it didn't seem to be a problem. It really scarred me though how bad it hurt.
I'd call your doctor if you're concerned though.
