cruise to cananda
I went years and years ago when I was a kid. We went in August on a 5 day to St. John's and Halifax and I remember it not being too warm and I feel like we needed light jackets.

I just did a quick search -- RCL does 7 days and longer and the last cruise of the year is 10/20. Carnival does 4 days and longer and they're relatively inexpensive but the last one for the year leaves the first week in October. Princess does 7 days and longer and the last one for the year leaves 10/19 and they are a bit $$. Celebrity only does 14 days. NCL does 7 days and longer and they stop cruising there in mid-October.

I did this in carnival last week of August in 2004. It was my first cruise & I went with my friend's family. My friend & I had a blast on board the ship itself but it got very cold at night. The decks iced over & some parts would close. The fog horn sounded constantly. The ports were chilly too. Again my friend & I were teenagers & had a blast onboard (I think personally its hard not to on a cruise) but I don't think I'd chose that itinerary again. If you don't mind it being chilly & maybe not sunbathing weather & you aren't looking for beach ports it could be a good time.

Yeah this is why i don't want to do a cruise to Alaska even though I've heard how amazing they are. I just can't imagine being on a cruise and not ending up someplace warm and tropical!

Re: cruise to cananda
i've done this cruise 3 times. its an easy and cheap vacation. is it the best ever? NO. but for a quick "all-inclusive" type of trip leaving from NYC, its not bad.
the weather is pretty fickle. sometimes i got to lay out in the sun. but more often i was in a hoodie
