Stomach pain and then fainting?
Hi all
I'm a bit of a lurker here, but we've been TTC #2 for nearly 18 months. All of our tests have come back mostly normal (DH morph a little low, me with slightly reduced ovarian reserve). But they found a cyst which may be a dermoid or may be endo on my left ovary.
Anyway, a few times in the past year I've had incredible stomach pain where I've fainted or almost fainted. It happened on Sunday and most recently before that it was on Christmas day. Happened a few times last year also. It's usually is accompanied by a need for the bathroom (sorry TMI! ) so I'm a bit confused as to what it is! Not sure if it's just gas or related to possible endo? or possibly cysts bursting?
Just wondering if anyone has any similar experience?
TIA!

Re: Stomach pain and then fainting?
Bumping this up because it's just happened again yesterday. Anyone else have anything similar? We're just about to start an IVF cycle and are getting cold feet as I feel there's really something wrong that they're not catching Any help much appreciated!

I have not but definitely something you should tell your doctor about!

Re: Stomach pain and then fainting?
do you have a hisrotry of cysts? it sounds like one could have ruptured
it also could be Mittelschmerz
does it happen around the time you would ovulate?

Re: Stomach pain and then fainting?
Thanks both.
Yes, I have mentioned to the doctor, in December. He said he thought it was just a stomach cramp.
Gina - this typically happens around the first or second day of my period. I do have a cyst - however, the people doing the scanning have all had differing opinions on what it is exactly. I've been told it's a 4cm dermoid, and then 2 x 2cm cysts, one possibly dermoid and one endometrioma. Basically they have no idea.
