Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM or MM?
Im torn between these two sizes! Any thoughts?
Also torn between the LV monogram pattern and the damier

I have the MM monogram. For my frame and what I need the bag for, the GM is just too large.
I would just go to the store and try all the combos  It's one of my FAVORITE bags!

I just got the MM Damier and I LOVE it. I think the GM would be too big for my needs.

Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM or MM?
I have the GM and it's perfect, but it's my out-all-day-with-DD bag, not my everyday purse. That being said, I'd rather have too much space than not enough.

Since I did buy it for an everyday purse, I went with the MM. I think if I needed a larger one for a purpose, then the bigger would be good - like work, a diaper bag, travel tote, etc. But, for my needs and for my frame I went with the MM.
I also chose the Brown Damier with the beautiful, vibrant red interior. The interior really sold me  The bag is wonderful - it is absolutely my favorite.
PS - when you go, ask about having your initials put on the bag - they do this service for free when you buy the bag and it is a really nice touch. I had three - first, middle, last - in gold, to match the hardware on the bag, put on the front of the bag and it was nice because they do this free of charge when you purchase it. It makes it special and personalizes it. They also do it right there, so there's no sending the bag out. It is on the little space where the strap connects to the bag -- in that little space is where they put them.

Thanks everyone, I am having a tough time deciding about the sizes bc I feel like the HM is too large for me but I want to be able to put my laptop in the bag and/or legal pasds manila folders etc.. Does the MM hold that kind of stuff?

I have the GM and love it but I'm a big bag type of gal. I'm also kind of tall so maybe it doesn't look silly that it's so big? Try both and see which one feels better for you.

I'm not the poster that had an issue but I'll give you my personal experience as well, if you want to consider it...
I have both LV and Gucci - one of each, not the same style Gucci that you are mentioning but still... and while I love my LV and think it's pretty and all that jazz, I have to say - QUALITY wise, the Gucci takes it hands down! That Gucci bag, the stitching, the quality of the leather, the construction, etc. is really a work of art - it's unbelievable and when I first got it, for weeks, I could not stop admiring how well it is made.
That being said, the LV that I have is the never-full -- now, they have all leather bags that are A LOT more money that may be just as nice as the Gucci - IDK, but overall - comparing the two - the stitching, the handles, the hold up over the years, and the hardware -- all things considered, the Gucci is just a remarkably well-made handbag. I would absolutely invest in another one of those where I think I'm good with just one LV unless I hit lotto and money doesn't matter in which case I'd get the all-leather bag they made for Coco Chanel

Wow that's crazy. I have a speedy 30 bought in 2007 and the wiring came out of the piping - but they fixed it for free.
After this post I went on Gucci online and they had the medium sukey on sale so I pulled the trigger.

I am with missfabulous on this. I have the largest Neverfull and I probably won't be buying LV again. The lining on the inside pocket is peeling, due to no fault of my own. There are no rips or tears in it, just peeling off in large chucks. I only keep my phone in that pocket which has no sharp edges because it has a rubber case.
I took it to the store and while they acknowledged they've seen it before, because I am out of warranty they want over $200 to fix it. Basically a quarter of the price of the bag and they won't guarantee it won't happen again.
DH bought me the bag after begging for it for over 2 years, and he said never again!

Drmeg- have them ship it to the factory for a quote they might fix it for free. When I sent my speedy out they told me 250 and it ended up being fixed for free

I had the GM. I sold it. The bag was great and large. I carry a lot of stuff so for me it was perfect. I sold it because I got sick of it and wanted something different.
I do see a lot of debate on LV and quality. I agree. I actually buy vintage LV's now because I find them better made than today's LV's. Now they are just mass produced and not worth the money.
You can't go wrong with Gucci as another poster mentioned. Quality really is amazing. I personally love Chanel and Balenciaga as I find the quality of those bags to be absolutely amazing as well.
