Block Island reccs?

We rented a house on BI with my ILs and I'm wondering if there are any suggestions for restaurants / things to do. We are probably planning on eating in more than a few nights since there are 4 LOs, but I'd like to go out a couple of nights. Any family friendly restaurants? TIA!

Almost all the restaurants are family friendly. (Hotel Manisses is more ideal for adults or those with older children. I've never been there only because we're always with our little ones.)

Our regular haunts are:
The Oar
Dead Eye Dicks
Mohegan Cafe & Brewery
National Hotel Tap & Grille
Finns

We have 3 LOs and are always with a large group of people, whether it be friends or family and it's never a problem...BUT we do try and make it a point to eat before the crowds. (I hate waiting...especially with LOs. Chat Icon )

The airport has a cute diner, but they're on the slow side and the girls/employees do have a bit of an attitude, something I haven't experienced at any other restaurant. Chat Icon BUT it's worth eating there so the kids can watch the planes take off and land.

If you're cooking in, we've purchased lobsters straight at the dock in past. Or you can stop at the seafood market right across from the ferry/below Finns.

There's horseback riding and pony rides (Rustic Rides). Our kids do the pony rides and then my DH and I schedule the horseback riding for ourselves. Chat Icon (We leave them with the ILs. Chat Icon )

Obviously you can charter a boat to go fishing.

Rent kayaks.

Beach wise we tend to go to Mansion Beach because there are less crowds, but parking can get a bit hairy...but there are no facilities.

We LOVE BI!!! I always joke around about being in a Block Island state of mind. Chat Icon Unfortunately we're not going this summer. Chat Icon

Have a wonderful trip!!!!

This is great, thanks for the reccs!

Any recommendations for yoga on the beach? I'm in the process of googling . . . TIA!
