NS LIJ Manhasset- Birthing Class

Has anyone taken the childbirth class at NS LIJ-Manhasset?

I did but that was 3 years ago. Not sure how or if it changed since Katz opened. It didn't end up being helpful considering I never went into labor, had to be induced and ultimately had a c-section. I liked the hospital tour though.

Thank you. From the website looks like it's about a work day (9-4) for the one day session. Was yours that long?

I took it, it didnt wind up going as late as they said, ended maybe an hour early. It was helpful to learn the breathing techniques which I actually used in the hospital until they gave me the epi

ETA: i didnt stay for the tour since I was giving birth at NSUH so thats prob why I remember it as ending early

I went to the class that was a 1 session only thing - on a Saturday. It worked best for us.

That's what we were looking into. The 1-session sat class. Just hoping the length of time is feesible for us.
