TV mounted on Wall - Decor under it
So we just hung the TV on the wall and under it is our electric fireplace - i want to decorate the top of the FP cause it looks bare but we didnt take that into consideration when we hung thr TV so there is alot of space - i was thinking of a low type candle thingy??
Can anyone recommend something - pics would be great too..
I cant do pics cause there isnt enough room.

We have a tv stand, but I have three candle sticks on one side as a decoration

Ours has some glass mosaic candle holders, a picture frame, a little owl, and its hard to see in the pic but a "Dream" stand (its in the middle). I hate that we have the cable box on there but we had no choice. Image Attachment(s):

Looks pretty. My TV is the same size as width of the stand but i want to ask do u find it hard to watch TV with it so high??

It took a day or so to get used to but now it's fine. We also have it on a tilting mount so we can angle it down

I am dreading this. Ultimately, we want to put a fireplace in and have it mounted above with nice moulding. But that probably won't be for a while since it would be a major installation to do. When DH does decide to hang it, I was thinking of having him make a long built-in looking bench underneath it that I could put some baskets in the bottom and cute pillows on top. It would not necessarily be functional, but it would take up that space. Our TV is on a long wall that stretches into the kitchen, and only a doorway breaks up the wall. Then do some sort of wall treatment to the left of the TV.
