Has anyone used "college hunks hauling away junk"?
Are they pricey?
If so, do you have a recommendation for another junk removal company? We are emptying my Grandma's house and don't want to spend a fortune for the furniture that is trash.

Don't bother with 1800-got junk or whatever that company is called! They were laughable with what they quoted us to clean out a relatives basement.

Don't know if it would work for you, but we got a quote from them and it was much cheaper for us to get a dumpster that we filled ourselves and had taken away.

Don't know if it would work for you, but we got a quote from them and it was much cheaper for us to get a dumpster that we filled ourselves and had taken away.
totally worth it to me. We tried someone from the penny saver and 1800 got junk, by far renting a dumpster and doing it ourselves worked out wayyyy cheaper. We just asked a few family members to help bought a few drinks and did some bbq.

I am sure it is cheaper but we really don't have the time to do it. We need it all gone after next weekend and almost everyone is busy next weekend. Sigh. I guess we have to see what the quote is.

I used 1-800-GotJunk to clear out FIL's hoarder apartment.
Cost about $800 for a full truck load - and that includes the labor to carry all the junk and garbage out. We did 4 truck loads.
We couldn't do the dumpster because there was no where to put it, and we couldn't get so-called family to help us.
