Boy and girl sharing a room

I have a cape, with 2 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 down. My bedroom is very big, i use the 2 bedrooms downstairs as a playroom, and office. Do you think its ok for a boy and a girl to share a room?
im wouldnt move DD into DS room until she is sleeping through the night, but i dont want to disturb him, if she isnt a sleeper i will have to come up with another plan.

Yes, until they, or one of them hits puberty.

My brother and I shared a room for awhile! My parents have a ranch, but when they first bought it, they rented out the upstairs, so it was just the two bedrooms downstairs. I remember being at least 5 years old, he is 19 months older, so he must have been almost 7, and peeking on our Xmas presents together from when we shared a room

I have the same sitaution. I have a cape too with the same set-up. They will share a room on the top for a while until someone moves downstairs. I painted the room a pale green and bought the Lambs and Ivy Echo bedding set. I bought my DD a twin bed and a plain comforter.

I shared a room with my brother until i went into middle school. we were 6 years apart in age, him being younger...thats when my parents bought a bigger house. I never had a problem with it.

My mom grew up sharing a room with 3 siblings. 2 boys and 2 girls.

My DS and DD share a room, they dont need to but they asked. Its been great and until they ask for their own room or we feel they get too old to share, then they will continue!

I think it is fine. Plus I rather have more common space for them playing in the play room than a room at that age.

My brother and I shared a room until we were I think 9 and 7 It was fun we used to play at night when we were supposed to be sleeping and we didn't separate until I hit puberty if I recall

My niece and nephew shared a room until my niece was about 8. It is definately doable.

We are expecting fraternal twins... If they are B/G, they will be sharing a room for a couple of years. Once they are old enough though, the boy will share a room with my older DS. If you have a choice, I would say have them share until maybe 8-10ish? At that point, they will want their own space.
