Baby #2, eh, no biggie
I'm about 7 weeks with baby #2 and I can already see how people are much more easy going with a second child. With #1 I was reading all the books, tracking everything, thinking, planning. With #2, I actually keep forgetting I'm pregnant. My DH had to remind me the other day not to eat goat cheese b/c it just slipped my mind. In fact I'm off to the doctor's this afternoon for the first time. Maybe once I hear the heartbeat (hopefully) it'll sink in and I can start "acting" pregnant.
Just wondering if anyone else was having similar feelings?

Re: Baby #2, eh, no biggie
#2 was a breeze! I rarely even thought about being pregnant until my hips started to hurt (around 17 weeks)
With #3 there was no way I could forget I'm pregnant! I was sooo exhausted in the first trimester, and although it's improved a bit- I still have no energy (I'm 27wks).
It definitely becomes more real after seeing the baby!

I am not really tracking as closely because I am so busy with my toddler lol- people ask me how many weeks and I always have to stop and think- last time I could tell you how many hours pregnant I was
also most cheese is pasturized in the US so totally eat your goat cheese

Baby #2, eh, no biggie
Yes and no. I was really sick until a few days ago, so there was no forgetting. However, I still feel like me- mom chasing after my toddler. And wonder when I'll feel like its real. Maybe when I feel the baby.

Re: Baby #2, eh, no biggie
Yes. While I have all the troublesome pregnancy symptoms for some reason I don't connect them to actually being pregnant. I eat cold cuts, peanuts, soda, tuna ect in moderation this time and haven't prepared at all so far at 30w. I didn't even tell all of my family until a few weeks ago.
I am so worried and nervous about how dd will respond to a new baby I haven't let it sink in that I am going to actually HAVE another BABY. I am starting to feel so guilty!

I feel the same! It helps that my symptoms not as strong as last time though! I am more flexible this time...I already had feta at least 5 times assuming its pasteurized when last time I'd never ever!

I coulda written this! I'm 17w and my husband had to scream at me for trying to move the ac! I have a pretty active 22m old and I barely remember I'm pregnant! I was so aware w my 1st, even showing earlier w him vs this time. It's crazy!

Re: Baby #2, eh, no biggie
I was exactly the same because I was so preoccupied with keeping up with my very active toddler. Now that I am starting to really look (and feel pregnant) I am starting to really get excited. Also, DD is really understanding that she is going to be a big sister so that also adds to the excitement!
