Trigger shot
I am so mad at my RE right now. My first trigger shot was delivered to my home at 9:30 when I opened the package I realized that it's way more complicated than a simple injection. I had to watch a you tube video on how to mix it because there were no instructions. Then I had to call the emergency line because I had no idea where to inject it. Finally I injected my stomach but some (a lot) of the liquid came right out of the little puncture hole after I injected. Do you think I did something wrong? Ugh. I wish they had given me a little more info on what to expect.

Re: Trigger shot
that was totally me the first time i ordered the trigger shot. Had no clue wtf I was doing trying to watch the youtube videos. After that, I brought the HCG with me to the RE and had the nurses do it during a monitoring appointment if my follies were mature. (but the RE I went to did IUI's 24 hours after trigger so this was possible).

Trigger shot
Thanks all. Turns out I was supposed to bring it to the MD with me. Honestly do not remember them saying that.

Re: Trigger shot
My RE gave me an instruction sheet on what to do. I just brought it over to my Mom's house who is a nurse and she mixed it for me and I had the shot in the back of my arm. I think it's normal for some liquid to come out bc it's supposed to be injected just below the skin- not directly into the blood stream. Next time, just bring it into the RE for them to do it if you don't have a RN available.
