Lack of hiccups
I am 36 weeks pregnant, this baby always has the hiccups, all day long. Today, she didn't have them at all! I was running around this morning, but still. I just did a kick count, I got to 10 kicks, but its definitely not as strong as they were. Would the lack of hiccups concern you? I am debating calling my OB tonight, or waiting until tomorrow, either way I am calling, just for peace of mind.

Re: Lack of hiccups
Hiccups is not a sign of everything being "ok" so a lack of hiccups doesn't mean that something is wrong.
If you're feeling kicks, then everything is fine.

Lack of hiccups
I'm 36 weeks also. Some days my baby is really active and some days I forget she's in there. I think if you're really concerned, or just for piece of mind, you could call the doctor and see what they suggest. Maybe your baby just had a sleepy day.

Lack of hiccups
If you got to 10 on your kick count then don't worry too much about the hiccups. When I hit 36 weeks I realized a drop in movement and it wasn't as intense with the movements. Now at almost 38 weeks I barely feel him but know that every now and then he punches my hip or pushes on my ribs. The hiccups are only there because she swallowed some fluid, so if she didn't hiccup that just means she's "eating" better today then yesterday.
Try not to worry, especially if the kick count was ok.
