getting rid of cysts before ttc again?

Hi Ladies, have any of you taken bc to get rid of a cyst before moving on to a new ttc cycle? If so, did you have to use it for the entire month or was it only until sono showed no structures on ovary?
I'm having a saline sono this week and if everything looks good I am wondering whether or not I will have to continue bc or if I will be able to start a new ivf cycle. Just wondering if any of you have any opinions or experience with this. Thanks for your input!
