Tylenol does nothing for me!
I'm under the weather today with a low grade fever that has completely knocked me on my a$$. Hoping it's just viral, but in the meantime I wanted to take something to reduce my fever and feel somewhat human. Pre pregnancy I was an Advil person for pain/fever help. Had to get Tylenol now and it does nothing for me. I feel no better on it - this sucks! Anyone else feel like Tylenol is a waste of a medicine? Haha

Regular tylenol I have always found useless. I believe you can take benadryl. That might help

tylenol is the worst! it does absolutely nothing and I think its also harsher on your liver, kidneys etc.

So basically there is no good fever reducer to take while pregnant? Or for headaches - which I haven't gotten many of but know they could be in my future

what's the head ache from? If its sinus you could try netty pot and see if clearing out your sinuses stops the pressure?

what's the head ache from? If its sinus you could try netty pot and see if clearing out your sinuses stops the pressure?
I've heard some pregnant women get migraines, which I haven't had yet. My headache yesterday was most definitely fever related because I'm not congested.

I'd call the OB then and see if she has suggestions on something you can take- I would think its worse to have a fever when pregnant than some of the drugs that they will give. Feel better!

Tylenol does nothing for me!
i'm not a big fan of meds but i would call your OB b/c its really important to get a fever down when you are pg. . .
and i understand, i have the WORST cough and its killing me b/c I won't take anything!

 Tylenol seems to work for me? I use it so sparingly so even taking one Tylenol knocks a blazing headache out pretty well....
