What's your stroller and why?
I plan on getting the City select since DH and I are going to start trying for number 2 right away.
What stroller is everyone registering for and why?

Question regarding the city mini...can that be used alone for a newborn?

I haven't looked into the city mini at all. My cousin has it and she didn't use it really till the baby was about 5 months

I love the Uppa baby vista as well but after researching and speaking to a lot of people, if you plan on having a second in the near future the city select is better. The second seat is the same size as the first seat were as on the Vista the other seat is a lot smaller.

Uppababy Cruz
It's a bit smaller than the Vista and we don't need/want the bassinet feature. I like that you could take the seat out and the frame essentially becomes a snap n go but with better wheels. We will be taking a ton of walks outside because of the proximity we live to stores, restaurants, etc.. so the snap n go wouldn't have been sufficient anyway since the wheels are better for indoors.

We are getting the Uppababy Cruz too. We do not need the bassinet, my dd is 4 and does not use a stroller, and DS will be our last child. I like the large basket feature, reversible seat, large canopy and the colors they offer. I am thrilled that we are having a boy because I love the pale blue stroller.
I had the bumbleride with DD and I loved most features (exception of small basket) but, it didn't move well on certain surfaces.

City select. We don't plan on having another kid for 2-3 years but in case it's sooner, or in case our oldest LO still want to be in the stroller for long trips I like having the options to add the second seat.
I also like that it is basically a snap and go when the seat is removed with an adapter.

Bob. Revolution. Why? Because DH said so. He wanted to pick out the big items and I had no problem letting him do the research and picking the items cause it made him happy. He says he chose it because it is very versatile and is very light. We have a very active lifestyle and he felt it was the best for that.

I love my Bob. I can push it with one hand, goes all terrain, dd loves it. Great canopy. The basket stinks though, but the benefits outweigh the stinky basket.
I wish they had an inline two, the bob Duallie is side by side and DD will be 3 when her sister comes, so I am getting a city select so I can add a seat when DD wants to sit.

citi-mini GT: super easy to fold and maneuver great canopy new basket is easier to get to smoother ride with the bigger wheels light
-u can use it with newborn but never thought about it bc I just used the snap and go until DD grew out of it, didnt want to bother with transitioning from stroller to carseat and didnt want to bother with the adapter either

YES I almost forgot about the big basket on the bottom, that's what completely SOLD me over the City Mini which has a very tiny basket. I feel like it's virtually useless on that one - at least for what I plan on using it for.

We have the Vista and love it. DS naps in the bassinet and we used it for walks a lot in the beginning. The basket underneath is huge, I can fit his diaper bag, my bag and any shopping we do. It handles really well and although it is on the heavier it goes in and out of the car maybe once a day so it's not really a huge deal and I like that you can fold it up with the seat attached. The carseat attachment is a huge help as well.
For an umbrella stroller we have the G-Luxe and I have only used it once so far but it is so light and ridiculously easy to fold or open up.
You really can't go wrong with any of the strollers people have mentioned here. Happy shopping!

Re: What's your stroller and why?
i have a couple strollers- if I had it to do over, I would have gotten the City Select as my main stroller. We didnt intend to get pregnant so quickly so I just thought about current time.
Main stroller with ds was the chicco travel one- broken now
Umbrella stroller- chicco lightway- love love love this stroller for traveling and keeping in the car
snap & go- completely awesome for first couple months

Re: What's your stroller and why?
My shower was this past weekend. We registered for the city select but no one got it for us. Luckily we got enough gift cards to cover the cost of the stroller. We decided to go with that stroller because of all the great features it has. We do plan on having a second child but this wasn't the main reason we got it. I know it's great for a second child as well.
I given the McClaren Quest at my shower. I have been looking at reviews and they are all great. I will use this stroller when the baby is a big bigger

Re: What's your stroller and why?
We have the city select. We always planned to have our children close together so we figured we would just splurge on one stroller as opposed to getting several. Our children will be 2 years apart when this is born, so it will definitely be used as a double!
