Can anyone recommend a licensed electrician?!?! House is located in Farmingdale!

I always recommend P & C Electric (Pat Stewart). He's based in Levittown but works all over. (516) 938-7575.

My family has used him for years, and he's done work on my own house. When I go into a lot of homes in the area for real estate work, I often see his magnet/card on the fridge.

Pat isn't the least expensive, I am sure, but his work is impeccable. He is quick, reliable, trustworthy, and cleans up when he's done so that you would never know he was there. For example, when he put recessed lighting in my living room, I had just moved in and had the walls and ceilings painted and the floors done. When he finished with the lighting, you would never know that the lighting was done after all of the other work... there wasn't a mark on anything! He's done a lot of work for my parents (most recently after they flooded in Sandy), my grandparents, and I would recommend him to anyone.
