DD was born June 25th. This one scheduled for the 27th :) I kept her in light l/s and l/p mostly in the house in a/c. Outside was light summery one piece outfits. THey say to dress them how you would dress yourself. I think I kept her a little more bundled up the first 2 weeks though.

i dressed him in long sleep onesies with feet, b/c air conditioning, and he was fine. if we were going to be outside i put him in a light weight short sleeve outfit. we always had him in the shade in the carriage, and we used a lightweight blanket as well, and always a hat. i always used socks, and always swaddled.

We live in FL so it's always hot but always a/c inside. Long sleeve cotton feetie sleepers at night with sleepsack and short sleeve onesie during the day with light blanket. Never socks and she never liked to be swaddled... we'll see with #2.

DD was born late June in a heat wave. We kept her in onesies all day. In the house AC she was swaddled- because to be honest swaddling was the only thing that kept her remotely calm. Outside we'd throw a light blanket over the carrier or stroller- but more for sun protection than anything else.
