How do you begin FET journey?

Hi Ladies!
So I am going to be calling Dr. Braverman this week to schedule an appointment and hopefully begin a FET. I had a successful IVF and my DD is now a year and a half. I am pretty nervous about this. Can anyone fill me in on exactly how the process goes? What happens on your first appt? I am also nervous because Dr B does not use the same office as I had my retrieval before. Had do they get the embryos? I also have not received a bill for freezing since last year!

I am starting my FET #2 with estrogen priming...today I went in on CD 3 for bloodwork & sono. I started estrace orally on CD 1. Normally you would go back on or about CD 10 to check the thickness of the lining and then depending on the thickness you would know when you can start PIO. My office would like the thickness to be at least 7mm before PIO is started. The transfer is 5 days after you start PIO.

I dont go to Dr. B so I dont know how his protocol is but this is mine.

I went in on CD2 and began estrogen patches that evening. I went back 7 days later for E2 checks and sonograms. A few days after that I started progesterone in oil and prednisone. I had my transfer with day 5 embryos 19 days after my CD2 start(only day I was available and the day my primary RE is in).

That was my only successful cycle.

How do you begin FET journey?

Thanks for the info! I called the office yesterday and the secretary told me he is booked until the end of July. So she said I should just call the first day of my period and then we will begin from there. Does this make sense?

You would most likely go in on CD 2 or 3 for a baseline.
