Re: Booking a newborn photographer
I booked a few weeks ago and I'm 17w. If you find someone you like book it bc they can get busy and you don't want to miss out on someone you want.
She told me within the first 10 days

Re: Booking a newborn photographer
I booked mine around 20w. They put me down for 10 days after my due date, but said there is some leeway if I go early or late.

Re: Booking a newborn photographer
I booked mine around 25 weeks which was just in time, some people said that was late. She penciled me in for 2 weeks after my due date and I called her with my c-section date and booked 2 weeks after that. She said to call/text if I happen to have the baby early or anything.

Re: Booking a newborn photographer
booked my photo shoot around 6 months preggo and dd's pics were taken when she was 4 days old. We came home on a Friday and pics were taken Sunday afternoon. Its best when they are very young to ensure they sleep during the photoshoot

Booking a newborn photographer
I booked around 12 weeks. Newborn shoots usually take much longer than say, family shoots, so they book up much faster.

Re: Booking a newborn photographer
I do newborn photography on Long Island. Book as soon as you can. Having the photographs done within the first 2 weeks of having the baby is the best. They are the most bendy then and sleepy for the most adorable pictures
