gender reveal poll-- find out at shower or wait?? Help me!!!!
We are so torn!!!!!!
We were thinking of waiting until the end, until the baby is born, to have that moment of "it's a..." in the delivery room... we have only 8-9 weeks left & since we couldn't find out at our last sono, I figured we'd just wait.
But THEN I had to call my doctor this week & he said I should come in soon for another sono anyway.... I realized I could go this week, have the tech write it on a paper, not look & do a gender reveal at my shower next weekend! It's a coed shower & a lot of our family/friends will be there so we were thinking it would be so cool to find out with them & see everyone's reactions!
If we go that route, we'd probably have the bakery make the cake pink or blue inside & then cut it & find out at our shower. We thought it would be fun to have people write their prediction on a card & then tally it up before we cut the cake.
We were thinking this would be really memorable for us & for our guests & a lot of fun!!
BUT I kinda still think it would be so cool to wait until the birth, since it's so close at this point.....
I know we can't do both & I have to decide soon!!!!!!! AAAHHH HELP!!!

Same exact here! At this point, you may as well wait...you made it this far. I don't like the idea of finding out in front of a couple of dozen people...for the 1st, at least. If I were ever having a 4th (which I am NOT!  ), I would consider a gender reveal...

I like your idea for the shower. It would make it super fun and you could make a game out of it.
However, if most of the stuff you have registered for and will be receiving is unisex, it might just be best to wait another 8 weeks or so.
Whatever you choose I am sure it will be wonderful.

You've made it this far, may as well wait until the delivery room. There is nothing else like it. Plus it makes the pregnancy so much more fun, especially in the end.
