Guard rail for convertible crib
Is the guard rail necessary? The description says "provides extra safety" does that mean it's suggested or should I really just get one?

Re: Guard rail for convertible crib
We just ordered our furniture yesterday and we didn't get the guard rail. My best friends daughter has a convertible bed and she does just fine without it.

Re: Guard rail for convertible crib
Just be sure you don't NEED the rail in order to convert the crib.
For DD1's set, I never ordered the guard rail and you can't convert to a toddler bed without it (some cribs you can just remove the front panel and it becomes sort of a day bed). By the time I went to order it, i couldn't get it anymore (although, I just googled Guard Rail for Convertible Crib and it came up for $99 on Google Shopping results )
