Got my meds delivered - needs refrig but I'm not home
Do they send Gonal F with an ice pak? I won't be home for another hour and a half. My dog walker said it has been there for a couple of hours. Am I totally screwed????

Yeah if its shipped its always shipped in proper packaging, ice packs in little Styrofoam coolers.

Got my meds delivered - needs refrig but I'm not home
I got my first Gonal F delivery on Saturday. There were like 3 ice packs in there and they were still more than half way frozen when I finally got the package. My package was also hours late so you will be fine. Good luck. I had my CD 6 follow up since starting Gonal F. The shots aren't so bad. Good luck!

All my refrigerated meds came on ice in an insulated box. My IVF nurse told me they should remain cold, but its ok for them to get a little warm as long as you use them that cycle.

Ok so they didn't pack it in a cooler but it was a foil bag with wrapped ice packs. It wasn't cold by any means and I can't hold them responsible since I let them drop it without a signature!!! Is it bad??? I am freaking out right now! I got home later than I thought. I don't know if I am using it this cycle for IUI or next. They ordered ganirelix as well. Which is which?

If the ice packs were still frozen you're good :) The inside of the bag should have been cold and if you take the syringe out it should be cold. If not call them and they will reship it. I had the same concerns the first time and I was shocked there was no temp gauge or quality control temp strip.

The ice packs were still frozen. I didn't check the inside of the bag. I don't think they will reship since I told them to leave it without a signature.

You never know. You can always call them and speak with the pharmacist to put your mind at ease. I was sooooooo upset when I got my first one bc i thought it was ruined; I called them.
