Backing to a earring
I lost one of the backings to my favorite pair of earring. This pair had a really small backing and none of the backings to my other earrings fit it...can I just go to a jewelry store with the earring and buy one backing?

I don't see why not. They also sell earring backs at Michaels.

Well I should clarify.... they sold them when I worked there like 13 years ago but they do sell stuff to make jewelry so they should still sell them.

When I was young I remember breaking the eraser off of a pencil to use as a backing if I lost mine LOL! I'm sure you want a better solution though Good to know, never knew they sold just backings!

I've looked in the jewelry making section of Michaels & haven't found them, but there are so many little bits, maybe I am missing them. I was told to try Claire's too, and didn't see them there.
I'm always trading my backs between sets of earrings, b/c I have lost so many.
