Similac vs enfamil
I'm coming to the end of the rtf bottles of similac given in the hospital. My plan was to give enfamil ab and I have rtf bottles to use for a few days. I'm also breastfeeding/pumping.
Does anyone have any preferences? He's been doing well on the similac and gave him enfamil today to start the transition, and he seemed to do well on that also.

Enfamil .....I gave both my girls the similac in the hospital but both didn't do well on it.....so I transitioned them after we got home to enfamil and both did so much better so this time around I will be asking at the hospital for enfamil at the beginning and well see if they let me

if he was doing well on similac i would just stay with that... the only difference i found for me was that I needed RTF and I was able to buy the quarts of RTF similac at BJ's.

Similac vs enfamil
we stayed on similac... the drs and nurses at the hospital and her pediatrician said oz for oz they are pretty much the same... so we just stuck with it...

We started on enfamil in the hospital and stuck with it. We only had to switch him to the Gentlease one... but he has been doing great on that.

i use enfamil....a nurse told me that more babies on similac have issues then the babies on enfamil
not sure how true it is, but since i had both i went with enfamil

Similac vs enfamil
We did enfamil because we had a bunch of free samples. I still have a bunch of 2oz powder packets of enfamil if you want. (newborn)

We use Enfamil. Both kids have done great with it. We switched over to the Target equivalent of Enfamil with no issues........and it's half the price!!!!

Similac vs enfamil
We ended up using Similac Sensitive for DS 1 and Enfamil Gentlease for DS 2 but, ped said iif they were to be fine on regular formula - there was really no difference between Similac Advance and Enfamil Infant and said I could switch between the two if I wanted.

Similac vs enfamil
We started with Similac but ended up on Enfamil Gentlease.
I don't think one is better than the other. i would go with what works for you as each baby is different.
