Spin-off to Sunglasses- Cheap RX Glasses?
I always had a wide variety of sunglasses, but now that I need to wear prescription glasses, I can't buy cheapies anymore. I do have one pair of RX sunglasses, but they were $$! And it's not like they are some big designer- Ralph Lauren, but big whoop! lol! My Coach eyeglasses were cheaper! Anyway, there's tons of sites boasting "cheap RX sunglasses" but I just don't know if any of them are any good. I can't afford to go back to Lens Crafters and pay the full price. Help!

I bought a pair of Coach sun glasses that I wanted from the outlet store, and sent them out to 39dollarglasses.com. I put the order in online selecting "Using my own frame" and mailed it to them with a copy of the order form. They put lenses in them for $48... Lenscrafters quoted me like $300 for the lens!!!!

WOW! That sounds great!!! I'm going to check them out, I'd be fine with doing that. Yeah, I think I got ripped by Lens Crafters. My eyeglasses were cheap, I guess my insurance covered most of it, but NOT my sunglasses.
