those registering for "city mini" stroller
Which attachments did you put on your registry?
If you want to use the car seat attachment, does any car seat work, or only certain models?

Re: those registering for "city mini" stroller
I know the car seat attachment works with Graco Snugride as that's what we used with it. I feel like it came with another piece too for a different brand.
I also have the rain cover, parent console, snack tray and foot muff.

They have different car seat adapters dependign on which car seat you bought.
I also got the parent console and the try. I don't think the tray and bar are necessary. I would pic one or the other and you won't use either for quite some time.

Check out the britax agile its a clone of the citi mini and you don't need any adapters if you get the britax infant seat.

They have two different car seat attachments if I'm not mistaken. At least they used to. I registered for one for my Chico car seat. They also have one that's good for several other brands, Just look up the product details and it tells you which ones are compatible. As for accessories, I registered for the belly bar, car seat attachment, rain cover and parent's console.

Re: those registering for "city mini" stroller
I have the car seat attachment, snack bar and parent console. While I loved the stroller, the accessories stink. I found the snack bar to be too high for DS to reach. Instead I attached a sippy cup or snack holder to one of those cords to keep it from falling. The parent console fell apart within a few months. There are two plastic rods in it giving it rigidity. Both bars fell out when the fabric came unstitched. Now it is really hard to use the cup holder. The car seat attachment worked fine. Just check to see which infant seats work. I had the Graco Snugride.

Re: those registering for "city mini" stroller
I have the city mini since '09 (got it for my DD and it's been our only stroller). We got the parent console and snack tray, parent console we keep on all the time but the snack tray we hardly ever used, she just liked the open-ness of the stroller. Didn't get any other attachments.
As for the car seat adapter, you are better off getting the separate snap-n-go frame that fits with your car seat, that's what we did. It's the same price as the city mini adapter and you'll reduce wear and tear on your city mini until you really need it.

Re: those registering for "city mini" stroller
We registered for the citi mini and the only other piece I added was the child tray. This is where the child can place a sippy cup, a toy, etc. Other than that, we just want the stroller.
As far as the infant car seat - the attachment, I believe there were two choices but only one that worked with the infant car seat we chose - and the one that fits the car seat we chose was a complete PITA to attach. Then, also, when you add the infant car seat on top of the stroller, plus a baby, it was heavy.
To simplify things, I just registered for an infant car seat carrier on wheels... They have several. A friend of mine has a two year old and she registered for the same citi mini stroller I did, she recommended this instead of having to deal with an attachment. I took her advice since she's BTDT.
I chose one that was cheap - the attachment was like $30 and this is $69.99 so to me, it was worth it... some are more money but the one I chose is:
http://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=41269855&
It's VERY light so you are just pushing around the light base, the infant carrier, and the baby. I mean, my friend's son used this for like 10 months before going into the regular stroller - everyone is different - but I figured for that usage, it was worth it and said to hell with the attachment.
You can also google terms like "stroller frame" or "stroller base infant car seat", etc. and other styles/brands will come up. I went with the cheapest and lightest that fit our infant car seat. Most advertise as being pretty 'universal'.
HTH!

Looks nice. We registered for the Britax B-Safe, so this could be a good option if we decide on that and take the citi mini out of the equation...
My big thing, HOW is it to close?
I need it to be so simple that I could do it with one hand and my eyes closed.
Strollers that are difficult to close requiring one to levitate while holding FOURTEEN different buttons and levers to collapse it are the BANE of my existence

Crashing: My DD is 5 months old and we just started using the citi mini. The parent console is a must! Also, I would get some kind of stroller hooks or straps for purse and/or diaper bag because the basket underneath is tiny!!
