Quick Poll!! Montauk VS Hershey with kids this weekend
I was torn between Montauk (we have never stayed) and Lancaster Eden Resort. Lancaster won because the Montauk hotels all looked gross for the prices, and had pretty bad reviews to be honest. So I personally would choose Hershey over Montauk

I love Hershey-- but it is going to be HOT HOT HOT outside.
These 3 Montauk hotels seem to get very good reviews. Keep in mind everything in Montauk in "motel" not "hotel"

Quick Poll!! Montauk VS Hershey with kids this weekend
I would say Montauk if you can get a room for the weekend at such last minute. Usually everything is booked solid once the warm weather arrives.
It's very relaxed, the beaches are clean, cute little beach town with mom and pop eating. We love Montauk.
