Freedom pharmacy / waste of a cycle (vent)
Just venting...
I was sooooooo excited about this cycle bc it is the first on in a few months and it's the first one after my D&C. However...NO activity on my left ovary  I have 3 beautiful follicles on the rt, but no rt tube. Sono tech said they had a pt in another office get her BFP from a similar situation and Dr Stelling swares it can happen, although rare. So, we are not going to skip cycle. Trigger tonight and IUI thurs unless bloodwork shows I'm surging on my own then IUI tomorrow.
Freedom pharmacy...UGH...I'm soooooo angry at them!!!!!!
They have usually been very good at getting me my meds in a timely fashion. Not this time!!!!!! Rx was faxed on the 21st; I had one left over Gonal pen in my fridge. So I called freedom Tues the 21st and explained my RE was sending my RX today, but I needed it asap bc I only had enough Gonal for 2-3 days. She said I had one refill from last month and rushed me one 300 IU pen and told me it would take a few hours to get the other rx in the system. Went back to Re on 24th and told Christine I had not gotten my meds yet. She showed me that it was sent, and she sent it again. Well, in a panic I called on Sat the 25th and she said they just got the Rx...BS...and they would rush it to me. WELL...I called yesterday bc I STILL had not heard anything, and RE said when I was there Sunday that I may be triggering on Tues. Long story short...they can not transfer or courier HCG trigger bc it is a controlled substance. I told her it was the pharmacies screw up and bc of them I may have had to skip this cycle. She pretty much said "Oh Well"!!!! Luckily, I had that extra pen, and my RE was able to give me one of their HCGs, I just have to replace it. Otherwise I really would have had to waste this whole cycle bc of them!!!
Ahhhhhh...better now lol

Good vent!! It's so frustrating with so many things out of our control!!! Incompetent companies / people only make the journey worse.
I also only have follies (2) on my right ovary this month. Nothing on left. My tubes are perfectly fine and I still feel like it won't work... so i can only image your situation.
I trigger tonight and b2b IUIs tomorrow and Thurs. I hope this is it for both of us.... for real this time!!

Im am glad you posted this- i was upset about it after our conv
Seriosuly check into other pharmacists that will cover your meds
You dont need the extra stress during a cycle

So sorry 
You totally can still get preg without a tube. There are many woman here on LIF who were in the 'other tube catches the egg' situation so still having the IUI is a great choice! Good luck and glad you got everything sorted out with the meds. Freedom is usually pretty good  Glad I know now so I don't rely completely on them. They DID mess up on the prescription for my progesterone two cycles ago. Just shows that even they can make errors! Best wishes to you and stay positive!!

ugh...sorry you had to deal with this - it's so stressful!! sometimes getting the meds is more stressful than going through the process itself!!
Some pharmacies allow for a one-time over-ride where they will let you pick up the meds at a local pharmacy (CVS). something to think about in the future...hopefully it wont happen again though!

Just what you needed, stressing about drugs..so sorry. You just never know when babygoldie will decide to join us, so great decision to move forward with cycle. POSITIVE thoughts, thats the one thing in your control.

No injectibles - still on clomid. This is 4th clomid cycle. I've always responded pretty well and got 2 BFPs.... it's staying pregnant that seems to be the problem. :(

So sorry. Its like you have to hunt people down. I had insurance/change of prescription issues I had to deal with on Friday. I called Freedom 4 times on Friday. Meds were sent out Friday and were supposed to be to me by 12pm on Saturday. 1:00 and nothing. On FEDEX online it was showing my package was in Queens. Fed ex said it was MIA basically. Finally found it at 3:00 in Melville. If I wasn't persistent meds might have been wasted bc they were on ice and aren't open on Sunday and Monday due to the holiday. This whole process is time consuming and stressful but it will all be worth it in the end. Best of luck this cycle.
