Target registry ... experiences?

I noticed on the registry printout it strongly suggests you give the person a gift receipt. Does this mean without a gift receipt they won't take something back? What about exchange for store credit? I only registered for stuff I KNOW I want so not planning on doing returns, but just curious in case I decide to add more.


Also, do you get a completion coupon?

Yes u gey t 10% coupon for whatever is left. They are pretty cool w returnes without receipts ..they will scan to see if they carry it & give u current price for store credit (gift card). I just did this. You may get doubles so its good to get a receipt (i got 2000 onsies..lol). Target has always been pretty cool w returns.

I returned a bunch of stuff to the store and they didn't give me a hard time (doubles and some stuff I realized I didn't need off the registry). They just gave me a gift card for the amount I returned. I never received the completion coupon though so thank you luvmyReese to that information so I can complain next time I go in there.
