Pineapple?

So i dont post too much but i just had a mini freak out. Everyone laugh at me because when i talk about this pregnancy and baby they say its like im not involved. Third person style or like im telling a story.
I admit its a hard thinh to grasp because its so foreign to me but i figure its normal.

I rarely look at those fruit comparison things but did this Morning. PINEAPPLE?! Ummmmm that seems rather large.... Now i think im freaking out

Please don't worry about not feeling connected to your baby. It is foreign because you haven't met the LO yet. Even after you have your baby, it's a big adjustment. But I can tell you one thing for sure...whether you fall in love with your LO the second you deliver or a few weeks down the road, you will eventually love your baby more than life itself. Just be patient and don't worry about what others say.

Pineapple?

I don't remember what week Pineapple was but I remember thinking the same thing that it's a little bigger than what I was expecting to be the fruit comparison that week.

I think it's really hard to connect with something that is growing inside you when you are just new to the whole concept. I remember wanting to feel that bond so early on when I found out I was pregnant. I loved my baby don't get me wrong but I wanted to feel a connection. It got more real when I felt him kick for the first time and when I started really getting a belly. I would have waves of "we're having a baby". Once he started moving ALL THE TIME it was hard to forget and started to really sink in. I'm 35 weeks and still go through "OMG we're having a baby" moment. Don't worry what everyone else says it sounds like...people are going to make all kinds of comments throughout your pregnancy...learn to laugh them off.

Maybe they mean a can of pineapple or a small one without the leaf part! Congrats! :) I also agree with other posts, in time you ll feel more connected

I'm a pineapple too this week based on weight...reading the comparison is seems to focus on the weight of a pineapple not so much the shape in circumference or length. This is baby boy two for me and I worry sometimes if I'll love him as much as I do my first. I think we all adjust to mommyhood in different ways be it the first time around or repeated.
