Can you imagine how HEAVY that dress must be??
Totally...its probably as heavy as my wedding sari, which was painful to wear!! I should weigh it tonight...lol...my guess is 20 pounds.
When I saw this, I immediately felt the weight of my sari on my shoulders

Your sari was beautiful!!
That's what I was thinking back to- wedding dress shopping. I had tried on this one gown with beading like this and it literally stood up on it's own.
