Anyone try Stitchfix
I need help with my wardrobe and a friend of mine uses it and loves it. I googled reviews and they are all good. I signed up to try it. I was put on a wait list last night, but they are already shipping my first box on 5/28.
If you are fashion challenged like me check out the site.
Stitch Fix
I'll repost when I get the box and let you know how I liked it.

Re: Anyone try Stitchfix
Received my first box early!
I received 5 items - 1 dress, 1 skirt, 1 sheer tank/blouse and 1 sweater t-shirt. Loved 4 of the 5! I enjoyed that they were things that I wouldn't have normally even tried on in the store. My favorite shirt was a little small - so unfortunately I had to send it back. Apparently the more feedback you give your stylist the better the products get.
I will try to upload the pics later tonight.
Already scheduled my next fix. This can be addicting :)

Re: Anyone try Stitchfix
Did anyone else ever end up trying it? I got my 2nd box and kept EVERYTHING! 1 pair of sanctuary pants, 1 jersey tank/shirt with a fun neckline, 1 silk patterned sleeveless blouse, really fun flowy cardigan and 1 gorgeous lightweight sweater. Everything was less than $200 because if you order all 5 items you get a 25% discount. I probably wouldn't have kept the jersey tank because I'm not a fan of the material (too clingy) but it was cheaper to keep it because of the $25% off. It looks nice enough, so I'll wear it.

It is addicting!!! I've kept quite a lot the last 2 boxes so I changed the schedule so I don't get another one for 2 months.
I didn't keep anything in my first box (some because of size) but I gave VERY detailed feedback. What I liked and didn't like - (patterns, cut, fabric, etc.) What I was looking for (no jewelry, stay at home mom fun trendy wear every day things, etc) It seems they do listen, but you can't be shy

Re: Anyone try Stitchfix
Depends on how you set up your profile. I stated I normally spend between $50 - $75 per item, less on accessories. There are lower and higher price points. You have to be really honest and specific. Most of my shirts are $48, cardigans $78, pants $78, I did receive a dress once for $58. They are all in the range I selected. I will try to take pictures of what I kept this weekend. IF you google Stitchfix reviews there are tons of blogs with pics to give you an idea or sign up for their blog free of charge.
Definitely know some designers (Sanctuary) and others are up and coming designers. There are others brands I know but I forget off the top of head.
There is a $20 styling fee so if you return everything (which only happened the first time) it does cost you $20, but if you keep something it goes towards your purchase. For ME I would spend tons of time driving to stores, walking around, and finding NOTHING. I have 2 little kids and very little free time to be bothered so for $20 once a month or every 2 months to save me the aggravation I enjoy it. And it gets me to try things on I would never pick off the rack. I don't' even always like it in the box. I put it on with my jeans, shoes, belts, whatever I have in my closet already and see if I can make outfits I like. If I can its a keeper :)
