working out and TTC
So to pass time and burn off frustration i joined Curves gym- i feel its a wimpy gym, but perfect for when the times come when i am preg
really wanted to join my old gym, but thought it was a waste of money once i was preg, tired and couldnt continue the classes etc
anyone else doing the same?

Re: working out and TTC
Back while doing surrogacy, the time was CRAWLING because I wasn't even the one going to appts.. getting monitored.. etc.. all I did was wait around for phone calls. I felt so disconnected to the process and the time went by so slow because of it. To help pass the time, I used the Couch to 5k app on my phone and ran a few times a week trying to build up to a 5k. It was great because it broke up the time with specific fitness goals that were different each time I ran. I think exercising is a great idea and especially the Couch to 5k app (there are a few out there) if you are trying to get into running! Good luck!

Re: working out and TTC
Right now we are not cycling so I do my normal running mileage and lifting schedule. From stimming to beta, I cut back A LOT since I am afraid of OHSS and twisting ovaries. I only do easy biking and walking - keeping my heart rate at about 140 bpm MAX.

working out and TTC
Pre going to a RE I worked out 5 days a week. I usually ran and went to take classes at the gym. In the summer I did C25K as well. Now with this whole stressful process I am so tired and I am lucky if I take a walk every night. I have gained like 10 pounds in the last few months. If this cycle doesn't work then I think I'm going to start working out harder. I need to not look gross for the summer.

I worked out at the gym until I was 36 weeks pregnant. The last 2 weeks I could barely move, and I had DS 2 weeks early.

Re: working out and TTC
I was only told by my RE and the Nurses to downplay vigorous exercise after ovulation. No boot camp workouts for example. Cardiovascular, walking, biking, light weights are fine.
