FFN Today
I'm having the FFN done tonight at my dr's office. What can I expect? Hoping these results do not come back postiive!!
** UPDATE**
That test was not bad at all! It was like having a pap done. My Dr. said if I don't call you all is okay and I will see you in 2 weeks. I have been on eggshells everytime my cell phone rang today..it wasn't them. So far all is good. It's after 3 and I think I would of heard by now..Pheww!!! I will have to have the FFN test done every two weeks until I give birth to make sure I don't go into pre-term labor. The recoomend doing this because I am having twins and considered high risk.

Re: FFT Today
I have them done every month now. It is almost like having a yearly pap done. The first time my OB did it and it hurt a lot. The second time a midwife did it and I barely felt a thing. I think it just has to do with how gentle they are with the spectrum.

I did have a sono after it! I was at my dr. for 1 1/2 hours that day but they also did my 1 hour GD testing.

Hmmm, not sure maybe 30-40 minutes. No sonos are short with twins They had to do a regular sono and then an internal one to check cervical length.

Re: FFT Today
I had one yesterday (I have been having contractions and dilation at 31 weeks). It was positive, though the doctors feel that it often shows a more accurate result as a negative as opposed to a positive. It was no big deal, just a swab.
