Who makes your crib?
We are looking for cribs w/ a cherry finish. I just started looking today but just curious who makes your crib and why you chose it? Anyone know where to look for safety ratings? I have the Baby Bargains book but haven't checked it out yet.. TIA!

Stanley Young America! It's made in America so there are no chemicals u have to worry about like the ones made from China. It's also all hard wood.

This is what we have too. Beautiful furniture, very well made, and still looks new after almost 5yrs of use. Love my set!!!

Westwood designs.
Use the baby bargains book and if you don't want to read the whole thing just look at the ratings.

Munire- its 2 years old and its scratched and has not held up as nicely as I would have hoped! It was pretty pricey too

My first DD had a Stanley Young America Crib, but we tossed it when when she moved into a bed. (It was too feminine to use for my DS.)
With DS #1, we purchased a DaVinci Jenny Lind. LOVED IT!
With DS #2 (currently in a crib) I tossed my 1st DaVinci Jenny Lind because it had a drop side and purchased a new one manufactured w/o the drop side. Again, LOVE IT.
For DC #4, we'll probably use the current crib we have.

DD has a Natart crib. It's green, no VOC, made in Canada, all wood, etc.
Truly amazing construction. (I love that I have an Ikea bed and yet my DD has a super fancy bedroom set).

Who makes your crib?
Romina, I read the ratings in the Baby Bargains book and narrowed it down to a few. When I went to look Romina just had the style I liked the most.

Munire - which was one of the recommendations from the Baby Bargains book at the time. It's 3 years old now and considering DS is still in it - it's held up great. Minus the bite marks from when he was first teething of course.
