Gestational Diabetes
I haven't seen the nutritionist yet, but I need to start really keeping a strict diet...any ideas on breakfasts and snacks? These seem to be the hardest for me to plan and stick to.

for breakfast i usually have plain cheerios with 1/2 banana or 2 eggs with a bagel thin and cream cheese. snacks i stick to yogurt (as long as it's not high in carbs), string cheese and nuts (almonds or walnuts). if i prick my finger after a meal and the number isn't too high then i'll have fruit for my snack.
ETA: i think different things work for different people so it's a little bit of trial and error (IMO).

Re: Gestational Diabetes
I had Gd last pregnancy. I ate two eggs with one slice of whole wheat toast every effing day. I couldn't drink milk with it (or with cereal) or my sugar would be too high
Snacks were much easier. Plain Greek yogurt with 1/4th cup multigrain Cheerios mixed in
Four triskets with peanut butter
A sugar free jello pudding every once in a while
