Miller Place
Hi - so it looks like we will be moving to Miller Place in August, can anyone give me some info on good restaurants, shopping, closest mall, where the beach is and things like that. I have a daughter going into 1st and a son who will be going to 4th grade. Thanks Diana

cedar beach is off sound ave. and there are a few other town beaches- they are all rocky but very nice for kids. Shopping not really sure, the mall is about 20 min away but there are small strips with stores throughout.

Cedar Beach is the closest, but I hate how rocky it is 
Miller Place Pastaria for pizza.
Jens in Mt. Sinai for Chinese.
Spiros in Rocky Point for a local date night.
Better on a Bagel (cash only though)
Don Quixote for Mexican.
Sea Basin in RP for seafood.
Tildas in RP for baked goods.
Amicis for Italian.
Los of good restaurants in Port Jeff too.
Kohls is in RP for shopping, mall or outlets are about 30 mins away. Lots of little local stores too.
