Acadia National Park in Maine (or nearby)
Has anyone ever gone? DH and I have been really into stargazing and astronomy lately and I just saw that they do a festival every year in September that I really want us to go to.
Has anyone ever been? Any hotel suggestions or things to do during the day?

We went last summer and it was fantastic. We did not go to the festival you are talking about, but to Acadia. We spent almost the entire week hiking and seeing all the attractions in the park.
We stayed at the Bar Harbor Inn was is a great location, any detailed questions please FM me.
