Rangers fans will appreciate this...
I've been laying down in the bedroom while DH watches the Rangers game in the living room. I could hear that the Rangers were losing so I went out to try and cheer DH up (and make fun a little bit - he's DIE hard Rangers but I'm an Islanders fan).
Well the SECOND DH put his hand on my stomach to say hi to Baby T the Rangers scored a goal. DH drove me nuts the rest of the game. He made me keep coming out to say hi and needed to rub my stomach again. It worked because shortly after he rubbed my belly again later in the game the Rangers scored and eventually won the game.
Though the Rangers fans out there (aka Ang) would appreciate this. We don't agree on baseball (I'm Mets, he's Yankees) and hockey. We agreed that Baby T will be a Mets/Rangers fan so this made DH feel like he made the right decision.

Same here! I was brought up on the Rangers, my dad's a season ticket holder and one of my little brother's middle name is Gretzky! You can't make this stuff up! LOL
Sounds like your LO is going to bring the Rangers some good luck!

I'm not a ranger fan but I do appreciate this! Every time I turn on hockey, LO goes nuts inside! He is destined to be a hockey player, (I've been playing since I was 3) Also the Islanders seem to appreciate him as a fan, every time I've watched they score! haha!

This LO seems to be more Rangers then Islanders. DH is PRAYS that our DS is a hockey player but DH is a little on the small side and I am DEF on the small side so I'm not seeing that in his future. DH is ready to buy him skates now! LOL!
And please watch the Islanders game tonight!!!

It's like that superstition commercial - it's only weird if it doesn't work. LOL!

I coach a 10u girls team, and plan to look for a boys team to start coaching soon. My son doesn't have a choice! Hopefully Nicholas takes after my side of the family, my dad and brother are both over 6ft, and athletic, DH on the other hand is an uncoordinated mess at 5'6"! HAHA!

That might be a problem when Frankys going to the game tomorrow. I was supposed to go watch it with my SIL but I'm sick. I guess I'll have to suck it up and watch but I'm doing it just for you Ang!
