Re: To stay team green or not?
Thank you for all your advice. I spoke to DH last night and we decided to stay team . As curious as i am if we are having a boy or a girl I think this is the best way for us.

To stay team green or not?
I always wanted to be team green for my first and know for my second. I figured I was going to register for gender neutral stuff anyway and wanted that moment in the hospital and DH to walk out and say "it's a XXXX" to everyone.
I lost the battle but not the war. This is our first and we ended up finding out. DH is the kind that used to unwrap his presents and then wrap them again, he doesn't do surprises. We went to Jersey and had my sister do the sono to make it a little special. Next time around we will do team green. I want to experience it both ways.
I think either way still has it's surprises. Even though I know it's a boy, I don't know who he will look like, how big he will be, what color hair and eyes he'll have, will he have my nose, etc.
I have to say that while I was upset that we found out this time around I tried to make it as special as possible. We had my sister tell us the gender and then videotaped it and had the parents come over and watch the video. It was still special. I would say make sure you want to know but if the last time it wasn't special, do you think this time will be any different?
I know this is a long response but I just wanted to add this...I ended up folding because I knew DH was going to harass my sister to read a sono until she answered him. Otherwise we were honestly going to play rock, paper, scissors to see if we were going to find out since neither of us would budge on it. Did you talk to DH and see what he wants?

Thank you for your response. Although I wasn't surprised with DS I did enjoy being team green. I am hoping this time I don't carry "all boy" as everyone said last time or that everyone guesses wrong! If it was a girl last time I probably would have fallen off the table!!
I think it bothers everyone else that I don't find out more than it bothers me and maybe that's why I'm feeling the need to know. People try to talk me out of it and I feel like I have to defend my choice!!
DH is fine with whatever I choose which is great. He wants to stay team green but if I said I need to know he would be ok with that. Either way wether you know before or find out in the delivery room when they hand you that baby it is the most amazing feeling in the world and that it what I'm looking forward to most.

Re: To stay team green or not?
We had been going back and forth on this - DH really wanted to find out but I have convinced him to stay team green!
Having a natural childbirth is important to me, as long as there are no medical issues, and I think that the excitement of finding out will keep me going throughout labor!
