Different closing date and possession date - so annoyed!
When we closed, the seller didn't move out until a week after. There was NO reason for her to do this, she was just being a crabby old biotch! The apartment she was moving to was ready, and OUR real estate agent even helped her pack - but she just decided to stay because she could. DH was livid!

Yes, we did 2 walk throughs and we put extra money in escrow. And then she took light fixtures that she wasn't supposed to and broke (I'm sure on purpose) the handle/lock on the front door (and then tried to glue it back on so we wouldn't notice - really?!?!?!) - so there was a fight for a while over how much of the escrow we would keep. Oh yeah. . . so much fun!!!
