Re: whats the difference??
A chemical pregnancy is a miscarriage that takes place during the earliest stages of a pregnancy. With a chemical pregnancy, hCG is produced, but only for a short period of time.
A chemical pregnancy would be a miscarriage before the fifth week of gestation.

This. but also, symptoms of a miscarriage will always vary no matter when you have one. You could have very heavy bleeding or NONE whatsoever (a missed miscarriage). The first trimester is such a paranoid, scary time... especially after a loss!!

This. I think a chemical is a pregnancy that is lost before anything is seen on a sono which makes sense before 5 weeks usually you can't see a sac.
Either way it sucks
