LI IVF girls
Specifically those that have gone for number two.... Did you have to repeat the IVF class, counselor meeting, etc.? Just wondering what to expect. Thank you!!!

Re: LI IVF girls
Not sure about the counseling part bc I am expecting my first, but the IVF class is now a video and they never even asked me if I watched it, so I would say you are probably in the clear for that.
Good Luck!!!

Re: LI IVF girls
I'm assuming that you are talking about IVF but in my experience (IUI only) this time around we only had to resign consent forms and do genetic testing. I'm not really thrilled with them this time around since they have partnered up with East Coast Fertility.

Thanks girls!
Sunshine - why aren't you happy with them? That makes me so sad. I had such a great experience last time.

Re: LI IVF girls
I had to re-do consents and do some more bloodwork... thats it....
I was with ECF... I loved them for the first... not thrilled now that they partnered with LIIVF... feels too much like a "factory" for me... Going to stay with them for the rest of my frosties then switch if needed...

I feel the exact same way. I was with Dr. Styne at ECF and had success. Now i've done 3 rounds with LI IVF and have had 1 mmc and 1 chemical and they don't seem to care or want to do any testing.
I had to redo the "OM" class in addition to all the paperwork when i started TTC #2

I love, love, love the Stony Brook office girls! They are still wonderful! My 2 experiences at the Patchogue office for AM monitoring have been rushed, impersonal, and pushy for co-payments that I am not responsible for. I thought the nurses (never met her before) were crass and rude. I also was not happy at how one of the nurses at Melville handled a situation during my IUI.

I am w lake success office and I think the nurses are awesome- I do call them 24/7
To add to it, we just had our 1st loss and dr brenner and staff were so helpful, and supportive
Hense the loss, I can't say anything bad about them

I'm with the Melville office and I feel just like it's a deli counter "take a number". The only thing I got with my chemical was the voicemail "sorry, come back in a week and we'll keep checking beta". No one told me if i'd have to skip a cycle, if I should see the doctor, and I certainly didn't get a call from the doctor saying he's sorry for my loss or anything. It feels like this is only personal to me, and 100% business to them.
Sorry to vent. I just met with Dr. K after my most recent chemical. The first thing he says is "So you've done 4 cycles and haven't gotten pregnant" and I responded "no, I've gotten pregnant 3 times". He says "oh, and this most recent chemical - that was from a frozen transfer, right?" I said "no, that was from clomid/IUI". I felt like they have no idea who I am, nor do they care.
