Gas conversion burner: using your oil burner for gas heat
Does anyone have a "gas conversion burner" in their house? We're thinking about switching from oil to gas heat & my husband read about an adapter that allows you to switch to gas, but using your existing oil burner (if it was manufactured in 2000 or later).
I'm wondering if it's a worthwhile option to explore...

My neighbors are doing it. Much cheaper than the full replacement unit.
If its a new burner I would do it. Our burner is from the 60s so we can't.
