Ribs Hurting

I can't decide why my ribs are hurting. It's in the rib cage right under the breasts. I don't know if they are aching beacause of my bras or if it's just my uterus growing.

Anyone had a similar problem like this?

I had this as well, and it turns out that the babys head was laying in my ribs. It wasnt until the baby flipped that I finally felt better. I totally feel your pain. At your next sono, find out if one of them are camping out over there. In the meantime, wear sports bras that are loose. They helped me a lot. Hope you feel better!!!

Re: Ribs Hurting

its normal!! it could be from the bras so try to wear wireless from now on. Also the babies are not pushing upward so you will feel everything shifting. I had terrible rib pain about 2 weeks ago it wasn't fun!! Chat Icon

Everything is shifting as your uterus grows. To help avoid discomfort stick with bras without underwire and drink lots of water.

Re: Ribs Hurting

Thanks Ladies. I am glad that I am not alone in this! I am going bra shopping this weekend. Gonna try between a bigger size and a soft sports bra. Need somethi ng very comfortable for the next 4 months. I'm drinking allot of water and walking around allot at work..and trying to sit up straight. Seems to be helping a bit..today.. I wore no bra..lol I have one of those camisoles with the bra built in.
