This baby's Papa J (aka my daddy) has generously offered to sponsor some maternity clothes so I am very excited to get some stuff. I've already spent a fair bit, even with sales, and I just keep finding I need more so I'm really grateful my dad has offered to pitch in....this shit gets expensive!
Everyone keeps telling me how spoiled this baby will be (ILs first grandchild and my parents feel guilty that I live far away) and I just think to myself 'have at it! if it saves us money!'

That's AWESOME that DH is buying you some maternity clothes! It really does help since they are so expensive. It's not like you can just go anywhere and buy something.
And watch out with the spoiling. It's my parents first grandchild and my ILs first grandson...we got OVERLOADED at the shower!!! I literally have clothes for DS from newborn to 2 years old!!!! And I'm right there with you...the more they spend, the less we have to! LOL

Haha not DH (both J's I know), our money is joint and he is frugal for lack of a better word. MY dad is buying them! He said 'anything for my babyx2'  Since my mom is so dysfunctional I am very appreciative of my dad's help! He really took to being a grandpa with my nephew which we weren't expecting, and now he embraces the role!

Agree! That's great! My parents did the same thing. Such an amazing gesture. Very appreciative!!
