A good friend of mine got a SURPRISE positive pregnancy test. This will be her 3rd child. She wasn't tracking her cycles so she thought her last period was 2/12.

Today she went to her first appointment and should be 10wks. There was no heartbeat and the tech said her uterus is measuring smaller than 10wk.

They didn't do bloodwork because they want to see how the u/s looks tomorrow. I would think they would want to do bloodwork yesterday and repeat tomorrow but what do I know.

Did this happen to anyone and everything was fine? I would love to put her mind at ease.
